The collection of amphibians was established since 1960 and it preserves 832 naturalized pieces, fluid-preserved amphibians or moulds, with important representatives present in the ecosystems of Oltenia.

The collection of reptiles reunites 282 pieces and has been established since 1958, preserving species that live in our country, such as: slow worm (Anguis fragilis); European green lizard (Lacerta viridis); common European adder (Vipera berus) as well as exotic species, such as: the snake and royal python, monitor lizards and agamas, which are held dearly and admired each time they are displayed during exhibitions.
